Walk-in-Interview

A walk-in-interview will be held for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/Project Assistant (PA) in the ongoing project entitled “Study of systematics, palaeoecology and palaeobiogeography of the Eocene moluscs from Kutch, Gujarat” funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India (No. SB/S4/ES-653/2012) on 22nd December, 2015 at the Department of Geology, Presidency University, Kolkata.

Principal Investigator: Dr. Kalyan Halder

Post: JRF/PA (one)

Project duration: about 8 months (or till the end of the project)

Fellowship: For JRF Rs. 25000/- + admissible allowances

For PA Rs. 10000/- (consolidated) (as per DST norms)

Eligibility: (1) First class M. Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology (for JRF/PA)

(2) NET - any national level examination conducted by the central government departments/agencies for admission to PhD program (for JRF only)

Date & time of interview: 22nd December, 2015, 11 AM

Interested candidates may appear with an application (in plain paper), a CV, photocopy of mark sheets and certificates, and dissertation/project report. The original certificates are to be presented before the selection committee.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
