JRF and SRF in DST Project

Two positions - one Junior and one Senior Research Fellow (JRF and SRF) - in the DST Sponsored Project “ Basin evolution and diversity of Eocene molluscs from Vastan and adjoining areas of Surat, Gujarat ” under the supervision of Dr. Kalyan Halder are available for three years / term of the project, whichever is earlier. Interested candidates may appear in a walk-in-interview on April 27, 2017 at the Department of Geology, Presidency University, 86/1 College Street, Kolkata - 700073.

Eligibility : 1. Post graduate (PG) degree in Geology with at least 55% marks and qualified in a National Eligibility Test (NET/GATE) for JRF.

2. Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience for SRF.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for JRF (NET qualified) and Rs. 28,000/- p. m. for SRF. The selected candidates will be eligible for HRA as per Presidency University Rules.

Note: No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.
