Debasish Datta
Assistant Professor
About-
Accelerator based material science is the thrust are of my research. I study the effect of energetic ion irradiation on semiconductor targets and metallic thin films. Recently I have started working on the deposition and characterisation of nano clusters on solid surfaces by physical route and the possibilities of modifying its chemical and physical properties through ion irradiation.

Course materials, slides used in the class, assignments, group activities, quizzes, references, syllabus etc. are regularly uploaded under respective course categories in a Learning Management System (LMS) maintained under https://canvas.instructure.com. Students are requested to check their respective course homepages for new uploads by logging in to the LMS. The ways to join a particular course are discussed in the class, generally, at the beginning of each course. If someone misses that, he/she may contact the course instructor.
