Biography+
I have completed my PhD (07.2011-03.2016) from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science under the supervision of Dr. Nikhil Ranjan Jana. My PhD work was on graphene based nanomaterials for biosensing and catalytic application. Also I have postdoctoral experience about 09 months (01.2018-10.2018) from GIST, Republic of Korea on 2D based nanomaterials for electrochemical water splitting reaction under the guidance of Dr.Moon-Ho Ham.

(1) UGC BSR start-up-research grant:Project title: Selective and sensitive optical detection of Hg2+, Cd2+ and Pb2+ ions by engineered plasmonic silver nanoparticles and its implementation to glass based sensor. Duration: 3 Year (01.2020 - 01.2023), Status: Completed
(2) SERB-SURE research grant: Project title: The enhanced activity of nickel cobalt phosphide nanowire array for electroreduction of nitrate to ammonia. Duration: 3 Year (10.2023 - 10.2026), Status: Ongoing.
Teaching / Other Experience+
I took classes of undergraduate physical chemistry courses and general chemistry courses in Ramananda College, Bishnupur, Bankura (04.2015-01.2018).
Currently I am teaching surface chemistry, electrochemistry, material chemistry and other physical chemistry related courses in UG and PG level in Presidency University, Kolkata (10.2018 to present)
