I completed my MA in 2007 and got introduced into research as Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Himalayan Studies, NBU in 2008. I was then appointed as Assistant Professor in the West Bengal Education Service and posted at Darjeeling Government College in 2009.

My undergoing research is about economic analysis of water services. I am interested in knowing what factors would affect the quality and quantity of water services provided, and how would one react to certain changes in the provision of such essential services.
