Presidency Physics Reunion 2014

On the 22nd and the 23rd of December, 2014, the Department of Physics, Presidency University, is organizing a reunion in which all former students from way back 1960s to yesteryear’s fresh graduates are cordially invited.

This event, promising to be grandiose in character, shall mark the much-awaited rendezvous of its very distinguished alumni, stationed in numerous avenues all over the world. The two-day event shall consist of lectures by some eminent physicists, who have graduated from Presidency, on various topics of scientific research, a panel discussion anchored by reputed news journalist and Presidency Physics alumnus, Mr. Sudipta Sengupta and also a string of cultural programmes by the departmental choirand the one-time-only performance of the play, “Copenhagen” in Bengali, translated by veteran theatre personality, Mr. Ujjwal Chattopadhyay and sanctioned by the author, Mr. Michael Frayn himself. The lectures and the play are open for the public at large.
