Academic Component:

OBJECTIVE: This Eight-week Internship Program is ready for those students who are willing to develop their skill-based knowledge in basic theory and laboratory oriented Linguistics. In this level, phonetics will be introduced. It will enhance the student’s linguistic analysis abilities that will benefit a learner from versatile background for years to come.

OUTCOME: This program is interdisciplinary in nature. So it will open significant doors to wider opportunities from Stylistics, Semiotics, Sociolinguistics and Psycholinguistics. Students will learn Speech Recording, Speech Data Segmentation, Data Filtering and Data Analysis which will lead to the process of Language Documentation and Language Preservation in future.

INTERACTION, ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION:

Both physical and online mode will be used for the interaction.

Students will be evaluated using Continuous and/or End of the Internship Assessment by the faculty members.

At the end of Internship, successful completion certificate shall be issued to the participants.
